The Phoenician city of Byblos


Byblos
Byblos or Jbeil in Arabic is known as one of the beautiful historical places to visit in Lebanon. It is also known as the most oldest inhaibited city in the whole world. The Phoenicians who invented the alphabets were living in this place. However, it is known that Byblos was inhabited even before that. You may want to visit this worldwide known historical sight and check out the oldest ruins!

The Roman Temple
 Baalbek is located in the Beqaa plain is known as the most significant historical sight-seeing in Lebanon as well as in the Middle East. There, the most nobel and largest Roman temple can be seen.The temples were built in a huge scale in which it turned the town into a central worship area during the Christian era. Visiting the temple during winter brings a beautiful scean, the snow covering the ruins. The sunset view from the ruins is as well another highlight in Lebanon.
